Hi there! I'm a makeup artist based in the Detroit area and am currently employed at LUSH Cosmetics. I work primarily in theatre and have a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment, Design & Technology from Eastern Michigan University. I have always been passionate about theatre, both as a career and a hobby, and have worked in costuming for three years, as well.
Aside from theatre, I'm is also interested in graphic design, fabrications, and digital/3D design - I recently fell in love with laser cutting through a college course. I am a lover of all art, especially music and literature, and like to spend my free time with my pet cat and a good book. I hope to soon start on YouTube, as well, and join some of my favorite sources of inspiration, making videos and sharing my love of makeup and creation.
ABOUT
I've included some of my recent projects and research papers, as well as my current resume.
- Gallery Mockup: I took an art history course on cult and controversy surrounding the Protestant and Catholic Reformations. This project is the final exam from the class in which we chose two central issues and created imaginary art galleries with key historical pieces. The paper expands on the issues and why each piece is vital to the display.
- Elizabethan Cosmetics: I researched the the cosmetics and standard of beauty of the Elizabethan Era and wrote a theory paper. I then expanded the project in order to present it in the poster session of Eastern's Undergraduate Symposium.
